The main goal of the organizers promoting the “NID Platform – The New Italian Dance Platform” is to ensure the widest possible visibility for the artistic quality of the Italian dance scene. This is pursued with full respect for the diversity of languages and poetics it expresses, while also responding to the programming needs of the various sectors that make up the broad and diverse landscape of Italian and international distribution and programming: from Italian regional circuits to established institutional theatres and independent showcases, from festivals to traditional theatres and international promotion networks, both nationally and internationally.
